The Chalk Arc partnership is an established programme focussed on securing greenspace in and around the housing growth scheduled for Luton, Dunstable, Houghton Regis and Leighton-Linslade by 2021. In all some 27,300 new homes are planned.

Funded by the Department for Communities and Local Government the Chalk Arc Team is ensuring greenspace ideas and opportunities are developed throughout this 100 square mile area around Luton and across South Bedfordshire, in order to contribute to the quality of life of its existing and new communities.
